2. Zuhne 32 Inch Undermount Single Bowl - Best Deep Sink
This 32 inch sink is designed for those who don’t want to compromise when it comes to performance and durability. High end CAD modeling and drawing were used in making the sink, testament to its precision and durability. Patented components from Zuhne were used in its construction, and customer support is good.
The sink’s body is made of uniform 16G, providing extra durability and longevity. This material is stronger than the ones used for other sinks. In fact, there is 28% extra steel to reduce noise and strengthen the body.
Performance wise the Zuhne lives up to the company’s claims. It is deep enough to hold two dozen plates or a large pot. Either way the Zuhne removes a lot of the hassle that comes with washing plates. The corners are smooth and easy to clean, so no more food debris will get stuck there.
Drainage quality is consistent and won’t keep water in the sink. Even if the sink is deep and gets filed with water, the Zuhne drains well. Another thing I like about the Zuhne is it cancels noise effectively. The noise is a common irritant especially when you’re washing utensils.
The Zuhne comes with an installation manual and all the needed mounting hardware. A towel is provided and the bottom grate is bundled too. The grate is an important feature because it keeps the sink from getting scratched. The T 304 gives the Zuhne the extra strength it needs to withstand heavy use, plus it builds up corrosion resistance.

The dimensions are similar to the other Kraus sinks. The basin is deep enough for more than dozen plates – 30 in fact - or a large pot. It’s made of stainless steel so it’s rust and corrosion proof. In addition the KHU100-32 is resistant to dents and dings. Even with a lot of heavy duty use, it simplifies cleaning.
For a lot of people though, the sink’s depth is the biggest selling point. Need to clean up that pot and your regular sink isn’t big enough? The KHU100-32 could be what you’re looking for. The spacious basin isn’t just for plates though as it is also for cooking pans, baking sheets and utensils. 4. Kraus KBU14 31 ½ inch Undermount Sink - Best Value for Money
The KBU 14 may look like your typical kitchen sink, but it stands out because of the quality and capability. Made from stainless steel, the KBU 14 is an ideal choice if you’re renovating. Another thing I noticed is the high quality satin finish which adds to its beauty and functionality.
As one of the best undermount kitchen sink products today, the KBU 14 provides convenience, durability and dependability. The drainage is good so water and food bits don’t get clogged even if you have to clean a lot of dishes. Made from heavy gauge stainless steel, the KBU 14 is dent resistant so it speeds up washing of dishes.
Accessories and mounting hardware are provided so installation is straightforward. This is an undermount kitchen sink so if you’ve had one before the process should be familiar. I also want to point out it’s easy to clean and maintain. Part of the reason is its satin finish, which is as much for aesthetics as for functionality.
The KBU 14 utilizes NoiseDefend Technology to cut down unwanted noise. A lot kitchen sinks have some kind of noise reducer is built in but don’t work well. With the KBU 14 it is different as it is tailor fit for getting rid of the noise.
The KBU 14 has enough space for 24 plates. It isn’t as deep as the other kitchen sinks reviewed here, but some people don’t like very deep basins. If you don’t need to stack a lot of plates, this sink will do.

5. Kraus KBU22 32 inch Undermount 50/50 Double Bowl Kitchen Sink
The KBU22 is marketed as a premium quality sink and I have to say that is true. This is a 50/50 double bowl so you can wash dishes in one basin and do chores on the other. Each basin has good capacity so fitting items or foods won’t be an issue.
Made from T-304 stainless steel, the KBU22 is suitable for heavy use. The two basins not only provide ample space, but they are also deep enough so you will be able to put a good number of plates and food items in it. Both bowls drain well, and you won’t see any issues with food or water clogging.
The surface is smooth and gives the KBU22 a nice polished look. It is also responsible for keeping the sink low maintenance. The satin finish also works well with the stain and scratch resistant properties so it is more convenient to use. As long as you don’t use harsh chemicals there won’t be maintenance issues.
The sink is made from non porous materials so the surface doesn’t corrode or rust the way other sinks do. I also like the built in noise dampeners as it is thicker than those used on regular sinks. This really makes a difference when there’s heavy water running and you’re doing a lot of cleaning, and this is possible due to the rubber pads. They’re all around the sink, serving as protection and reducing noise.

6. Blanco 440194 Single 9-1/2 Bowl Depth Sink
The Blanco 440194 isn’t like your standard stainless steel sink. Made from Anthracite and 80% solid granite, it’s for those who want a heavy duty sink that doesn’t need a lot of maintenance. While solidly built, the 440194 does not weigh as much as a cast iron sink so it won’t be as hard to install. This also means less pressure on your counter.
The 440194 is large, offering a lot of space so you’ll be able to tidy up those dishes more quickly. Need to stack multiple plates? The 440194 sink provides enough space not just for dishes but also food. The version I’m reviewing is the single bowl type, but there is a double bowl version available.
The 440194 is for anyone who wants a good sized sink without being too heavy. One of the things you will see is its flat deck design. This is a deliberate choice and means it is compatible with undermount and drop in installations. It’s not every day that you find kitchen sinks that can do this, giving it flexibility.
The deck half an inch thick which is just right for these types of sinks. It looks good and is scratch resistant. The surface does not stain easily the way other sinks do. Just as important, the 440194 is resistant to most household stains. So if you accidentally drop alkali solutions or acids, it’s not going to do much damage.

This is a handcrafted bowl, which only underscores how well designed it is. This is not the only stainless steel sink online but the KHU103-33 is one of the most versatile.
The sink’s channel grooves have been placed there specifically so water drains quickly. If you have spent anytime doing the dishes, you know how frustrating it can be to unclog a drain. With the KHU103-33 you can say goodbye to that as its draining system is exceptionally good.
All good kitchen sinks have a dampening pad that have been designed to mitigate noise, and so does this one. The dampening pads get the job done as the sink does not make a lot of noise even when water hits the surface. Because each bowl is well designed you’ll be able to wash and clean foods without any difficulty.
The satin finish adds a nice touch and it goes well with the drainage system. You can see the sink at work as water flows smoothly and quickly in the drain. Here you will also see the benefit of the channel grooves as it directs water in the drain thoroughly. This also means you don’t have to worry about water pooling in the sink.
The KHU103-33 also has one of the better noise reduction mechanisms I’ve seen. The sound reducers on other kitchen sinks don’t get the job done and can be really irritating. In this case you’ll notice the sink is quiet. Add the spacious basin and it’s a good deal.

With the KBU12 that is less likely to happen. The surface is durable and it’s been built specifically when you need to do heavy washing.
The KBU12 has a distinct appearance, giving it texture. While regular stainless steel is silver, the KBU12 is more light gray. The look doesn’t affect its functionality, but it is a nice touch and makes your sink stand out from the rest. So apart from being versatile the sink is also stylish.
The KBU12 is solidly made, but you can’t just throw stuff in it or pour harsh chemicals. When used regularly, the sink will last a lifetime. The sink is highly resistant though so you don’t have to be too concerned about scratches or dents.

First and foremost it is constructed from premium stainless steel. This tells you the unit is made for heavy duty use and doesn’t need a lot of upkeep.
The apron front style gives the KHF200-33 its distinct look, as well as the farmhouse sink which is durable than others. The 16 gauge stainless steel is thicker than the average so the sink can take a lot more heavy use. You don’t want to deliberately try to stain it, but with regular use the sink should last for years.
The KHF200-33 does not dent easily and it is also one of the most durable in its range. The drainage system works as well as advertised, ensuring food debris don’t gather and that water does not pool. Its noise canceling technology cuts down noise to a level that other sinks will find hard to match.

Kitchen Sink Materials
Different materials are used for construction such as stainless steel, granite stone, marble, soapstone, ceramic, copper, cast iron and many others. Some kitchen sinks are made from composite materials, and brands usually add a proprietary feature or material to enhance the built.
Stainless steel is the most widely used because it offers a good compromise between durability, maintenance, usability and cost. The majority of stainless steel sinks are made by setting the steel on the die. Welding is also used in creating deep sinks. Another advantage offered by stainless sinks is they don’t get damaged by cold or hot objects
The drawback with some stainless steel sinks is the noise they make. To counter this, brands use thick stainless steel or noise dampening technology to counteract this. The top sinks in the market also have anti-vibration materials for stability when you wash.
Stone sinks have been used for thousands of years, and they are still in use today. 80% of granite is probably the most popular, though soapstone, onyx and marble are used as well. Other materials used are terrazzo, concrete and glass, though they are usually reinforced to make it stronger and practical to use.
If you’re going to buy a kitchen sink, take the time to learn how each of its major features work and the materials used. This will give you a better idea of what the sink can do and if it’s right for you.
What to Look for in a Kitchen Sink
All kitchen sinks have the same purpose, wash the dishes and prepare food as well as clean other items and objects. But that does not mean they are built equally. As I pointed out at the beginning of this review guide, some kitchen sinks are better made than others, and being stuck with a poorly made sink can cause problems.
I have already covered the basics of what a kitchen sink so I won’t go over that stuff again. However, you do need to consider those factors when shopping for a new sink. In addition you will want to think of the following.
Number of Bowls
Do you want 1, 2 or 3? The choice is up to you. A single basin allows you to clean several dishes at once. The large space also means you’ll be able to put that stockpot in the sink and clean it off.
On the other hand, two or three bowls allows you to multitask. You could wash plates and do food prep at the same time. Also, many people are used to the two bowl sink so why change it? Only you can decide which style is more appropriate.
I am talking about two kinds, the physical dimensions of the sink and the size of the bowl or bowls. Get the sink’s physical dimensions to ensure that it will fit in your counter. Next, check the bowl’s dimensions. Ideally the depth is 9 to 10 inches, though some may find that too deep.
This does not need a long explanation. Get a sink with as good a drainage design as possible. Nobody wants to see water pool when there are a ton of dishes to clean, so buy only from reputable manufacturers to avoid this problem. With a high quality drainage water will consistently flow into the drain.
Undermount sinks have become easier to install now compared to years ago, but some models are still easier to configure than others. Again you’ll want to buy from a reputable manufacturer to avoid complications.
A good kitchen sink must come with the needed mounting hardware and user guide. Some even come with towels and other accessories. It really depends on you whether to put emphasis on accessories or not, but they can be useful and cost effective.
As the reviews above indicate, the ten products reviewed here are all durable, stain and scratch resistant. Those are critical features that you must look for regardless of the brand or size.
How to Install a Kitchen Sink (Video)
So there you have it, the top ten kitchen sinks you can buy online. I know there are a lot of good sinks and brands, but I used stringent criteria in choosing the ten here. First and foremost I made sure all were made by reputable companies and that each one has gotten good feedback.
Quality kitchen sinks have certain trademarks such as durability, depth, lots of space, ease of installation and so on. The materials used are important of course so I took that into consideration. After reviewing each one I can say that all ten made the cut. However that doesn’t mean you’ll find them of equal value as you may prefer one over the other.
If you like a solid granite sink, the Blanco 44094 will be preferable. Do you prefer a double bowl sink? Then the Kraus KHU103-33 is ideal. Are you looking for a 10 inch deep sink, choose one of the Kraus products here. Looking for sinks of a specific size? Just check the table above and you’ll know the specs.
The point is all ten of these kitchen sinks have something to offer. They are all sinks yes, but their features vary as do the mechanisms by which they work. Knowing the difference is key to helping you find out which is the right one for your home. After all, what works for one may not for you, so having multiple choices is necessary.
I hope this guide was able to help you find the best kitchen sink. There are few things more frustrating than being stuck with a poorly made sink, making it difficult to wash plates and pots. Again, I won’t decide for you what kitchen sink is the most ideal, but I can say all products here are high quality.
